New Guitar - New Song on YouTube.

Post by James Kerr »

This is my new guitar made from Mahogany and Scottish Sycamore, it has twin Ibanez Pickups from the early 80s. I don't use Volume or Tone controls so I don't bother to fit them on my Guitars.

The song is a James Taylor - Alison Krause duet I saw them sing on YouTube and liked very much "How's the world treating you".

I hope you enjoy listening, you can see my home built guitars on the Video.

Hi James, that is about the most beautiful job you did on that song and the sound of that guitar is just perfect. I love the tone . You really have an art for building fine steel guitars and a fabulous art and talent for playing beautiful music. Thank you so very much for sharing your music with everyone and keep the videos coming in.

Absolutely beautiful, James. You have such a mellow sound in that steel...it creeps right into my soul. You are a fine builder.
Who plays pedal steel on the track?

Thank you all for having a listen, and for your kind words.

Bent, this backing track was given to me so I don't know the "Other Steel Player"

I have already started building the next guitar, an 8 String this time after hearing Doug play.

James that was great, and you sure are a craftsman. Some painstaking patience you have to build those quality guitars.
