You;re to late Jack I am a charter member if you do not believe this ask Barney Miller. Guys we all from Florida had a good time and were treated like royality, Joe Turner jumped in and would not let me carry my axe to the car, and the other guys had everthing out the door before i knew what
was happening, whAT A GREAT BUNCH OF FOLK. You bet we will be back if we are able, I have been in bed the last 3 days right side just caved in and I could not walk. Got out today and went to work, have to hang 31 36" doors and 72 4 foot light fixtures must get with it.
Just show us the way.
Bobbe are you comming???????
I should have my coop D 10 back by then or I will play the LLOyd Green it plays so great. I almost plays itself, and yes guys I can play it barefooted.
Blake Hawkins says I will be electrocuted with the Plugs on the side.

It took a while but I finaly know what it means, all Ernie has to do is show up?????
That statement had to be made by someone that does the planning, Promotes and runs the show.
I helped a little, brought 3 acts with me last time, and this time may be 4, with Larry Danley, you willlove this guy, watch his eyes and mouth while playing he is a scream, and one heck of a nice guy, they come no better.
Jack has to come from Dalas Tx, American Airline Pilot. Connie is from San Sabastion fl. Connie is a comercial fisherman and Larry is from Winter Haven, drive those mile and it is a task just to show up. Also I am quit busy playing and working.
We plan to be there, or as stated (just show up).

Ray no appoligize needed I took it as ment, in fun, It just took me to long to figure it out. I talked to Ken Fox the profex wiz, he will come if it does not come on the date he and new wife are going on a trip. He plays a U 12 and is a chord master on lead and breaks.
Jack
conyers and I were talking about a year and a half ago about jams in or around Macon, so it would be in the center of the state.
I have talked to Roger and donna about holding some of the Georgia peach Jams there abouts.

Herby Wallace was scheduled to be at the ole clinton opry on the 15th of Oct. but the date was changed to the 22nd of Oct. which will make it impossible for Herby to be here with us. He will be missed as he is scheduled to play an Arkansaw date on the 22nd. We look forward to having him on the next clinton opry show. We are very fortunate to have "Mr. Smooth" Bill Stafford from Gulf Port, MS on the 22nd of Oct. Bill has recorded with many top groups in the nation and received many awards one being the "Jerry Byrd" award given to him by the master of touch and tone the late Jerry Byrd, himself. Bill also is a regular on the world's largest steel guitar show in St. Lewis and many others around the country. Bill also heads up the Gulf Port steel guitar show along with our president Ben O'Dell. We are very fortunate indeed to have this great player on our show. |
