Shp Bud parts

Post by Paul Adams »

Hello all:
Does anyone have any close up pics of the helper spring connection section. I think it's 2 aluminum brackets and then the section where the springs hook in. If anyone has one for sale, I be interested also.
Thanks

I'm using one of John Coops redesigned changers, so I guessing it would probably be a newer model. Do you have pics or a helper spring section for sale?

Is this what you want to see? This is a '67 guitar.

Hey John. That does help. I guess it's just basically 2 aluminum side brackets. Thanks for your help![/img]

Actually, those "brackets" are the sides of the changer. Here's the '67 changer pulled from the guitar;

Here's a pic of the '74;

Thanks John.
Those last pics of the 74 are very helpful. I have an idea is just going to have to be hand made in order to fit. I'm putting together a 12 string and just getting parts and pieces from wherever I can. I gotten a lot of the pieces from John Coop, but haven't been able to get in touch with him as of late. I'll probably just sit down and see what i can come up with that will fit. But thanks again for sending the photos.

Paul,
You can also get "pieces and parts" from James Morehead. Both he and Coop make great stuff.
