Jack the Sho-bud is in the cabnet shop getting the trim or rope replaced it sanded thru. I will be playing a Loyd green sho-bud at the Jam. My Vegas went crazy last nite may need to borrow a amp. Don the tone on this Loyd green is something to behold, the sustain last about two measures or more.
The pedals are being set up as Emmons , Leon, loaned me his bud to get use to the different set up. No problems so far.
Getting a new leg bag from Gary, and a new case from albert Johnson and Danna Flood. The rig will all be brand new as the guitar is being refited under neith, 3&5. I am very excited it will weigh a fraction of what the D10 weighs. I quess I should not complain my road crew does most of the work.

Ernie,
If it sounds as good as my ShoBud SuperPro then you got a good one pal.
How sweet it is!

In the last few months, Ernie has shown up with so many different guitars and amps that it is becomming a highlight of the jam to see just what he sets up.

The August meeting/jam is always interesting.

Blake I will be there Wen. with a Loyd Green, Shobud, and it is green. Most likely use my Silvertone amp again, sure like the sound of it. It pushes the lows some but sounds good anyway.
Ray is comming with us he is a new singer with our Monday nite Jam and sangs Ray Price and hank Thompson very well.
Jack Dougherty, and Larry Bullock will be with us Monday nite also. When these 2 get together it is someting to behold. Just ask jack How good Larry is. Jack said he would like to sit at Larry's feet and learn.

Thanks for all who came to our jam last night and to our wonderful backup band Tom Murphy, Bernie Waldon, Karl Congdon,Tony Sellman and John King.
Also to Jennings the Possum man joining us from the east coast of Florida.
Jack Stoner played "Rose City Chimes" as a special request just for the Possum man.
We also had a moment of silence for the late great Hal Rugg. We will all miss him dearly.

Don, thanks for the plug. I'm sure my version of Rose City Chimes brought tears to the Possum's eyes.

You Florida steel pickers ever let some of us Mississippi pickers come to your shows. If I get a chance, I might slip in on one of your steel shows. I use to play sets with Jimmy Powell when he and Larry Bullock were coming to our shows in Magee, Ms. By the way, we would be glad to have any of you at our Gulfport or Magee steel shows anytime. Your all welcome.

Billy, anytime you are in the area, the 2nd Wednesday of the month, drop by. There's always room for one more.

Our next regular club meeting/jam will be Oct 12. Our 3rd Anniversary Show, Sept 17, will take the place of the September meeting/jam.

We are also talking to people about another Hall of Fame fundraising show in Feb of 06. This is still in the "talking" stage but something to consider. I should have more on this after I meet with Scotty in St Louis.
