Hey folks
I am nearly at the end of a most wonderful week here in Nashville.

I came over to visit my Friends, Billy & Nancy Yates and family. (Billy Wrote I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair and Choices) for George Jones.

We were at the Best Show in town, "The Countriest Of Country Show" I met Jamie Lennon and Georgette Jones there. They were both very friendly and polite. Georgette sang at the show and Jamie played a Show Pro for her.

I'd just like to say thanks to you guys for your kindness and the VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE. You guys are the best.

Mike and Joanie Johnson were in town and it was great to visit with them at the shows.

Steel Players are the best!!! people :)

...and as a Brummy he's a great embassador for Birmingham. :D

I think giving up one's day job, moving to Nashville on spec, and getting engaged to one's favourite singers' daughter must be every Brummy's dream. ;-) ;-)

I've been living in the U.S.A. for over 30 years now. Ironically, I moved two years after I was married: when I was living in England I was never successful with women, but after moving to California I had women throwing themselves at me, at a time when I was unable to reciprocate. :whoa: :(

Now, as I approach 65, I'd rather have a bacon sandwich. ;-)

Did you guys see the news today?

A young Englishman from Birmingham was doing stunts in an airplane when he fell out in mid-air. He was free-falling (hundreds of miles per hour) when luckily, he landed perfectly on the side of a mountain and slid down a soft bank of snow and slowly glided (standing up) to a 'women only' ski resort packed full of beautiful young women who all witnessed his entire ordeal.... Unbelieveably, he was completely unharmed!

When the reporter and cameraman got past the hundreds of women they said.. "You must be the luckiest man in the world!"... While eating a bacon sandwich (and with a lipsrick covered face), he looked straight inro the camera lens and shook his head and said...

"Nope... not me", "The luckiest man in the world is me bloke Jamie Lennon"

Jamie, is he anybody you might know?

Best wishes! :)
