I don't know if it's been announced here lately I searched and didn't find any recent news on it so I thought I'd let you all know about it.

I went up there tonight and what a treat. I got to listen to some of the best music I've heard in along time.

My long time friend Gregg Galbraith was on lead guitar along with Doyle Gresham on steel as well as long time friend too Jan Jones on drums and another good friend Ernie Rowell on bass (thanx for the prayers Ernie) and Drew Covington on fiddle and Walt Cunningham (I think) on keyboards with Bob Knight on lead vocals and Doyle's wife singing backup and a great job she done. (sorry I didn't get to meet her or Doyle) next time I hope!

What a great sound Gregg had he played an older Les Paul. Man Gregg played every lead perfect and most of them in 2 and 3 part harmony with himself then him and Doyle would play 2 or 3 parts each and it sound so good.

I couldn't see Doyles guitar from where I was setting but it sounded great and full with lots of body and just enough highs to cut, but no matter what it was it was a treat to listen to them play together so well. The amazing thing is I think they were both subbing hee hee.

The gig is good ole Country with a few swing tunes and square dance here and there (no gig is perfect LOL)but I sure had a great time.

Thanks Gregg and Jan, I'll be back. Smile)

In addition to that the bar-b-q and corn bread is just great. The music is always country according to Billy Walker, my old friend that always takes us down there and everybody has a good time. A great place to go when you are in Nashville. You are also right about Doyle, better known as Mr. Underrated.
