Hi folks, I just wanted to stop in and say thanks to my good friend and great steel player Jay Andrews for helping me get back out and play my first gig in 5 years.

For those of you that don't know me I have been under the weather for quite a while. So this gig was definitely a good thing for me to do.

Without Jay's help and moral support I wouldn't have been able to go down on Broad to pick today. I sat in last Monday night with pretty much disastrous results as I'm sure you could imagine after no gigs in 5 years, but today was much better. I really had a great time and seen a lot of good long time friends.

Well anyway thanks Jay and I can't wait until the next time.

Watch out Smiley and Jan Jones you guys are next LOL Smile)

For any of you out there who don't know Big Bob Martin (The Stratomaster) He's one of the nicest most decent and kind hearted players ever to tip a cold one up in Music City. One hell of a player and singer and all that with absolutly NO ego. Check him out if you get the chance, you'll be glad ya did. WC Edgar www.wcedgar.com

Hey Bob, glad to hear you are back at it!! I really enjoyed hearing you at Gabes years ago with Murph. I've cut way back too, just a couple nights a month, not like the old "Pork" days (he passed away last year). Next time I'm down there I'll have to look you up!! Take care and keep pickin!!

Hey Dyke, it's good to hear from you. I hate to hear about Pork although I knew he had a few problems with his heart I didn't know that he had passed.

We sure had a lot of fun listening and jamming and you know what else Smile) with him. I remember your pink guitar was it a Peavey T-60 or a Strat? It's been so long I can't remember LOL. Come down and look me up I'll probably be down on Broad some where. If you want my number just email me at bigbob@comcast.net See ya soon.

Hey Bobby, I wish you could have been there too. I had a hoot and I'm going back for more ASAP. Hows the gig in Branson? Don't be surprised if you see me some day hollering BOBBY OH BOBBY Hee hee.... I miss our old days at Gabes.
