Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows when volume pedals first came into use?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Cheers,

Fred

I believe the usual contender is the Rocco Tonexpressor volume/tone pedal, designed by Anthony Rocco and produced by Epiphone in 1937.

I'm sure it wasn't close to being the first but I started out with an old DeArmond, still have it. Very Happy

I used the DeArmond too in the late '40's.
