I sometimes need to double on guitar then switch to lap steel.
A keyboard stand works but most stands are just not tall enough to stand up and play, without hunching over and hurting my back.
Is there a model out there that any of you guys use while standing? I'm 5'10" not all that tall...

I use one of these for my National D8 console steel... or my National Dynamic.

I'm 6' and it works great.

I'm 6'3" and I haven't had a problem with standing up to a keyboard stand.
Don't know what brand I have, but when you find one I suggest putting some pipe insulation on the top of it.
Grips the guitar and pads it, and you don't have to stick anything to it. It costs like 1.50 or so at the hardware store.
Best of luck to you!
