Tyler Hall Congrats!!

Post by Al Miller »

Lets all Congradulate Tyler Hall!
Tyler is taking the title of an offical "STATESIDER" for a few weeks behind the legend Mel Tillis while the great Terry Bethel recovers from some minor neck surgery. Tyler has worked very hard in the few yrs i have known him and has become quite the steel player . Terry should be commended as well for his help in molding this young feller into the player he is. this would be a dream come true for 99.9% of us all . lets cheer ole Tyler on and wish him well on his first trip out . i know he must be scared to death as well as being giddy as a school girl. :whoa: . also lets not forget to wish ole Terry a speedy recovery as well we love you Terry your a good man ..

Terry, Tyler and I were visiting in Dallas and Tyler stated that he wanted that job, but the "Old Man" just wouldn't retire.
I wonder if he judo chopped Terry and gave him that sore neck?
Tell me about it Tyler.

Remember when we were talking a while back Tyler ? (About something else must be in the wind when you missed the Nichols thing?)
One of the hardest things I believe I had to try to achieve in my long life is how to show patience when something seemingly goes wrong. We are all so very proud of you, please remember that always. - :) Bill.

Hey guys, I really appreciate it. A fella couldn't ask for a better support group than this bunch of guys. I really appreciate all the kind words.

I never thought I'd get to work with Mel so this is just too cool. Then I found out we're playing the Ryman two weeks in a row. As far as I'm concerned, Mel has one of the best bands around, and it's a treat to get to finally play with those guys.

Bethel is doing fine after his neck surgery last Wed. He's getting around the house as good as before. I can't comment on what happened to his neck Ray, but you can rest assured I'll be nursing him back to a speedy recovery so he can get back to work. ;-)

We heard you on the Grand Ole Opry with Mel. It was funny when Mel couldn't remember your name -- then later he mentioned it. Good luck to you.
