Hey guys,
I just talked to Curtis Potter today. He called about some medicine, but the conversation got to steel guitar, and the meeting on the 26th. He will definitely be there playing with Jim Loessberg. Bob Tuttle will also be there and have no other than Bobby Rountree pickin' bass. I understand that he is also a steeler. More to follow.

Larry, I went to the Swing festival lastFriday to hear Curtis and the band , Jim was playing steel and the band sound great, Roundtree was playing bass and Randy was on the drums and Charles Walton on lead guitar. All these guys have told me they will be at the meeting on the 26th. I can hardly wait! Talked to Bob Rains today and he will be there also.

Hey ya'll,

Does anyone have an Emmons volume pedal I can borrow Sunday? The pot in mine has rapidly deteriorated and I'm not sure there is time to replace it. Maybe someone will have one on standby in case I can't get mine fixed in time.

Best,

Jim

Jim, I'll let you use my Hilton, but you have to give it back. It might spoil you.

Hey Jim,
I'll be bringing my steel too for Bob Rains to display, he has sold several this week, and needs mine to display. I have a nice hilton pedal if you would like to borrow it.

Thanks guys!

I appreciate the offers of the pedals and I might need to take one of you up on the offer. I am having trouble locating a pot locally and I am afraid there is not enought time to order one.

I am looking forward to Sunday!

Best,

Jim

Hey Jim,
I will be helping out on the lead guitar Sunday, anything special you need as far as songs go? I can read the charts ok, but if you have something really wild...give me a heads up!
Thanks

Larry,

I don't have anything wild planned. Everything I know is pretty straightforward and I am sure I'll be backing up Curtis a lot. I'm sure you know all of his stuff!

Best,

Jim

Bobby and all, we have some conflicting schedules we're trying to rectify. Hoping to be there and enjoy the fun, but we will certainly be supporting the association in any case.
