B11th is a beautiful tuning but
does not fit most styles.
Of course it is all in the hands of
the respective players.
I did this arrangement of Yellow Roses
and it comes off fine but somehow it does
not sound the way it is supposed to sound
...Country and Hawaiian do not mix perhaps.
I have to twist my thinking to be comfortable
playing the song on this tuning.

Pretty song...Thanks for posting it Roy..Your new picture threw me.I thought for a moment it might have been Roy junior. Ha. When I listened to the song I knew it had to be you. No mistaking the sound and touch of Roy Thomson Lee |

Thanks,

Beautiful Roy! I've tried to play different songs with B11 and just can't make it work as easily as I can with C6. You on the other hand make it sound easy. |

Thank you all so much.
The tuning set up for that clip is as
follows:
6 string top to bottom: E--C#--A--F#--D#--B
Pretty amazing I think.
Here is another B11th Solo of mine
which I composed a few years ago
Ku U Macka ( Apple Of My Eye )
When I play B11th I hear about 30
ukelei's (?) in the backup?
Visit my site and email me if
