The Manasota Steel Guitar had another fine meeting and jam last night.
We had a very good turn out even though some of the regular members are off on vacation trips.
The steel players were: Tom Murphy, Jack Stoner, Don Sulesky, Larry Danley, Larry Bell, Rex Rains, Frank Brandenberg, and Blake Hawkins.
The variety of songs plus a fine live back up group made for a very enjoyable evening.

Tom Murphy and Clyde Wiggins are the club officers and it is through their efforts that we have such good jams.

The Manasota Steel Guitar Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month.

It was a good jam last evening. I finally got to meet Larry Bell - great picker!

Some guy named Blake, played a lot of stuff I never heard him play, too...

The pleasure was all mine.

Great to meet Jack and Don Sulesky. There was plenty of pickin' and fellowship. That's what it's all about.

A good time was had by all.
It was nice to meet and pick with you Larry.
Now if only some of those hot licks would rub off on me that would be nice.
Thanks to Tom and Clyde for their hospitality.
Don

sorry to have omitted you, Larry D -- the Mullen sounded superb. It was great touching base with you as well and meeting your lovely wife. Hope to see you again in Bradenton -- or else y'all come down to Englewood.

Thanks again to Tom and Clyde and Blake for making this thing fly right. And I always enjoy the great non-pedal players. Great place to spend a Tuesday night.
