tuner

Post by Larry Baker »

Mickey, I have a Seiko chromatic auto tuner that
I would donate if it is something you could use to
go with the rest of the gear. This is a great thing
you are doing. The tuner works fine, I used it for
years, and just got a new one.
Let me know if you can use it, and I will ship it
out to you NO CHARGE. Larry Baker

Hes a large...! for the shirt
The guitar is an SD10 Mullen Pre RP for the cover...so same size as the D10...
I plan on making a video of the entire process, from the guitar refurb to delivery,,,i have kinda decided to just fly the 182 up there to him...that way I can spend more time with him..This is what lifes all about..!
Wouldnt this make a great reality TV show?...lol

Ok!

Post by Mickey Adams »

OK guys I have enough donations to cover the amp...And Ive decided that since he has some mobility issues that I would use the money to buy a NEW NV112!. Its light, and portable, and sounds great.. I know that all of you that have donated would find this acceptable. I would like to get him a delay unit too..(since we all use them!)...If you have a boss unit to sell please PM me..Im waiting on the changer..Which will be new, and the guitar can be completed in one day.
So far his package is pretty impressive
A Rebuilt Mullen Pre RP SD10, Blue Mica 4+5
A NV112 New (Forumites!)
A Pac-A Seat (Mick)
A Hilton Volume Pedal (Mick)
Extra Strings (Danny Hullihen!)(Jagwire)
Bar and Picks (Jimmy Palenscar)(Steel Guitars of North County)
T Shirt! (Tommy Huff)
Boss Tuner (Larry Baker)
Guitar Cover (David Beckner)
When he receives all these great items, I will make sure that he knows that ALL of you, had a hand in this. All the proceeds will go directly to him, and when its all said and done, I will personally make a generous donation to our biggest supporter...B0B..
Peace ALL!...Mick

Hey Mickey. I believe I have Boss delay unit here, and I'll send that to you too, no charge.

By the way Mickey, just as an f.y.i.,be careful of the use of the name "Hooligan." My Irish brethern would take a Shillelagh to you for calling them that, and my English mates would look down on me if I was ever any part of that London street gang! (a.k.a. "the Hooligan Boys) :whoa:

A little off subject here, but as an aviator, here's a little "name related" history you might find interesting.

A German man, Matthias Rust, was convicted of "hooliganism," for his 1987 Cessna(F172P)landing in Red Square, Russia. :)

In any event, here's the correct spelling. Hullihen :) Good on ya! :D

I think that is a very wise decision on the N-112. If I ever get another, it will be from Bobbe.

Hey Mickey,

You're a good dude to pull this all together. Count me in for anything you might find yourself short on to make this gentleman's day extra special.

Also, what area of the country is the big event scheduled for?

Best to you friend,
TC

Oh, one more thing, I know some folks at McDonald's corporate. Seeing as your generosity is on par with another great philanthropic personality, If you'd like, I can ask to borrow the Ronald McDonald costume. I'd pay good money to see you in that :)

TC, thanks for the post my friend...I cant think of anything else I really need for the package. The Forum members just put the whole thing over the top!...Ill be videotaping the whole event, from the guitar reconstruction, the flight up, and im sure that the recipient will want to say something to the Forum members that made this possible!..He lives north of Wichita KS...Im looking at next weekend...If you can think of anything that you would like to donate, just give me a ring ok ??...Ronald McDonald?????
