I'm having trouble tuning the C pedal E to F# raise on my Sho-Bud Pro II with barrels and two-hole pullers.

Without mashing the pedal, the barrel rest against the puller. So when I mash the pedal and sharp the raise to F#, the open E sharps too.

But when I back the barrel away from the puller, the raise no longer goes all the way to F#. Sharping the raise brings the barrel back in contact with the puller, and the open E sharps again.

I must be overlooking something here. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

That change requires a lot of pedal travel.
It is a booger to get on a p/p also.

I'm slightly amazed, but I fixed it.

Thank you, Steve and Erv, for your support and guidance.

Erv, it's nice to know it's not just me and my Sho-Bud, that other players and instruments find this change a booger.

Steve, you were right. Thank you for helping me out.

The Steel Guitar Forum is a beautiful place.

Thank you!
