dobro (resonator) pickup

Post by Timmy Witt »

Looking for a pickup for a dobro (spider bridge). Preferably a fishman or mcintyre. If you have one you are not using and want to get rid of it. Let me know.
thanks

Timmy,
I was just searching for a pick up myself and would recomend looking up schattendesign.com. This is a Canadian manufacturer of pick ups of all kind. I looked at mcintyre's,and fishmans etc. The schatten design is excellent! You may not be looking for a new pick up but it would'nt hurt to consider it.

The Don Lace pickup for Dobro is pretty nice on a 6 string. I have not tried one on an 8 string and it is too narrow for my 10-string.
