Mike,
The G2 is a great guitar. I played one in the Mullen room @ Dallas in 2008. It had excellent tone, and was easy to play.
I'm curious about the Precision Align changer. As you look into the changer from the endplate, what is the function of that "honeycomb-like" horizontal strut that runs between the lower and raise rods? Is it just for side-to-side stability, or something else altogether? |

Tony, the comb plate as we call it, the item you are referring to, is the neutral stop position for the changer levers; they rest against this item when the lever is not engaged. It also contributes to the alignment of each changer lever to make sure they stay aligned properly. Thank You for the question. |

That makes sense. Is it also the fulcrum for the raise and lower scissor blades? |

Congratulations Mike, and to all at the Mullen Guitar Company. I know first hand how much hard work and dedication to excellence goes into every guitar you folks build, and I have no doubt those build numbers will continue to increase. _________________ http://www.jagwirestrings.com |
