Hey ...everyone, I'm spanking new to this great place. I spend my time on the TDPRI telecaster site, bu I've about got my tele's as well sounding as they can get...it's time to work on my steel rig and playing now. George, I live in Tulsa right near the Fairgrounds, so I'm glad you brought this event up...WWhere's it going to be? Sounds innarestin'! I play a cheapo Artisan 6 string that I've modded with a Mini-humbucker from Artec and some all parts tuners,,took out the pots and run direct from pickup to jack,,not pretty to look at , but she sounds good!
My good buddy is currently trying to get Bob Wills' old touring bus restored, he's currently raising funds and interest, and also trying to get a section of downtown named after him...I'm in agreeance that one of Tulsa's great luminaries should get a little more recognition. I llok forward to learning alot here, and hopefully providing others with any information that may be of interest regarding the steel. I like both kinds of music, country and western.
