Great performance!
How about this one? Some tasty licks here too. Not sure who the steel man is but it looks like Doug Jernigan's right hand....

Fiddlers: The fiddler on the left is Tommy Jackson, but it seems that the fiddler on the right may be "Red Hayes" :?:

David and bent ; Did the two of you figure out whom the steel picker is on that last tune you posted for we forumites. I recognized Hal Ruggs on the first one Dave brought our attention to. I'm tickled to see you boys noticing good music when you hear it. Faron always had great steel pickers behind him [ heard he was a hard man to work for ] Bernie :D :whoa:  :)

Re: Hal Rugg video David posted. It looks like Hal is playing that keyless Sho-bud, we've heard tell about.

Billy by golly your right, it is a keyless Sho~Bud he's playing. It must have not caught on to well with Hal and other players of that time.

+ :D :whoa:  :whoa:

Billy : That was my very first guess that the middle fiddle was Don Rich. I'm an old Buckaroo fan frpm way back; what do you other steelers think ? Don spent a lot of time in Nashville during that Era being part of the Hee-Haw Shows..Bernie :whoa:  8)

That is Don Rich on the fiddle. Also Doyle Holley on Bass and Willie Cantu on drums. Wow! He had half of the Buckaroos there.

Mr Tuttle,

You're right about Doyle Holly and Don Rich, but the drummer in that Hee Haw clip is Jerry Wiggins, the Buckaroos drummer at the time. Also, the fiddler on the right, in the grey suit is Charlie Justice, George Jones' fiddle player.

Jim, Thanks for correcting that. These old clips are kind of fuzzy (or maybe it's these old eyes) and I was just assuming it was Willie with Doyle and Don.
