| Our band, Billy Mata and Texas Tradition has been nominated in 5 catagories for the 2005 Will Rogers Academy of Western Artist Awards. We're nominated for Western Swing Cd of the year , Song of the year (Just To Celebrate), Male Vocalist, Duo or Group, and entertainer of the year. We will be performing at the show in Dallas in July at the awards ceremony. To say the least we're all really excited. We,ve also got a call from Power Source Magazine in Nashville that our Cd has gone from 13 to No. 1 in the Western Swing category. We may not win anything but it sure feels good to be recognized for all our years of effort and hard work. This Wednesday we will be playing at the Western Swing Festival in Snyder, Tx. Hope to see some of you there. It's a fun show. |

Roger....how cool is that..congrats. I still say, that the five dollars me and John Terry spent to get in at Quihi was the best five bucks I've spent anywhere...a really great band...we're going to see you in a little over a month..looking forward to it. |
