I wish I could come up, I told Gary
I was coming up to visit my sister
in a couple of weeks and just couldn't
make it.
Take care of Kenny, don't let him
get choked on fish bones

I was planning to be there...
Sorry friends,
I had every intention of heading out this morning, to be there to help setup. Woke to the wife up and sleeping in the lounger in the living room, sick as she could be. She'll get better, and I'll do my best to make the next one. Sorry I had to miss it...
Happy picking,
Dick Sexton

Again we had another great jam ! The jams seem to be getting better and better . Bobby Cox brought Mr. Ike Landrum with him and he played some great fiddle along with some great lead guitar . Larry Cole played lead guitar also and did a great job . I love the ''midi ''effect that sounds like a saxophone that he did . We had Sonny Curtis ,Leland Darst , Bobby Cox , Marshall Looney , Wilson Brinkley , Kenny Krupnick ,Curtis Mason , Dustin Rigsby ,Marvin Born and myself on Steel guitar . Mr. Ed Mason on drums ,Mike Allen i think on bass ,he was a first timer and did great . Marvin Born did a great job of running sound .Our next jam is June 5th and this will be the last one until September 18 th . We do plan on having a O.S.G.A. cookout in between the June and Sept jam , so be looking for that . Remember folks the dues are coming again in June . Your support is appreciated so much . Until June ,G.P.

Gary and all Columbus area players:
Dave Beaty of Telonics is sending me a rack of their latest steel guitar equipment for testing and demo.
It includes:
Latest MK-1 LeMay pre-amp
The new 1 rack unit high power amp, 250 X 250 watts RMS. This will be an early production model.
Telonics volume pedal with the external position sensor. This feature is helpful for players who have a physical problem operating their pedal.
Latest Lexicon 200 series effects processor.
The pedal is on its way now and the rack equipment will be here and set up in time for our June Jam. Everyone is welcome to connect their steel and take it for a "ride."
I will bring my Zum D-10 and of course all the cables will be those that I make.
Rick Johnson is building me another big 15" cabinet, so I will have a matched pair loaded with Peavey Black Widow 1501 drivers. The cabinets can be switched from open to closed back quickly just to see how that sounds.
Everyone is encouraged to fill out an evaluation sheet for any suggestions or comments to be sent to Telonics.
