We just confirmed this morning (5/27) that Miss Lana from SteelRadio.com will be joining us all the way from St. Louis. She'll be making the rounds and interviewing our great line-up of pickers. We may have to bring in "T" buildings, but one thing's for sure....We're ALL gonna have a blast!

MAN !!! Ya'll gotta take it easy on the old man. Don't know how much more of this good pressure I can take. HUMMMMMMM
But,,,, let me throw this one more, pretty much, for sure, item in here.
I spoke to Ricky Barnes last friday night and he said he would also be at the show with none other than Romeo Sullivan. Don't know who all Romeo will come in the door with. Also our regular crew from Mobile mentioned they would probably be there before having to leave for the shin-dig in Citronelle, Alabama. I told them they need to change their dates so we could swap off and they could always be there.

Mike, we will all miss you.
Roy, your "WOW" just isn't big enough after the good news about another VERY BIG guest who will show up for our Friday nite frolic at the Fish Camp and then again on Sat. at the VFW.
Reggie, contact R.J. so he can call his manager friend there at the Ramada Inn at Diamond Head.
We are in for one busy and great time filled with the steel guitar music we all love.
Just to mention our roots-Billy Carr will have his D-8 National, Ivan Reddington with his D-8 National, Scotty with his Jerry Byrd Fry Pan to keep us celebrating the life of Jerry Byrd all weekend. Thanks to all for this wonderful interest and support. You guys are SUPERB!!

Fun has already started. Have the company of Scotty, Mary, Samantha and Randall(two of their grand kids), Roy and Laurie Ayres, Fred Justice and his grand daughter Dovie have already been tasting the southern hospitality. J.R. Jones and band will be playing at the Armed Forces Retirement on the beach in Gulfport this afternoon from two till five and then all will head out to the Lakeside Fish camp after that. I will fill in for Hal Higgins, who usually plays with this group, is out of town. He will be missed. One busy , fun and lots of music weekend ahead. See you all soon. Drive safe. And don't forget our huge surprise guest steel guitarist who will show Friday night and be with us on Sat. at the VFW.
