Al Brisco "The Heartache" Live 1995

Post by Bill Ferguson »

Here's a clip (although a little fuzzy from old video tape) of my pal Al Brisco playing a little known song called "The Heartache"

Enjoy this and many others at www.youtube.com/steelpicker.

Bill: I'm not from your part of the Country but I have seen the same Keyboard (Piano) player on s lot of the U-Tube Jams. He is just great, was he a session player he seems to know all styles from Country to Jazz.

Billy:

I believe that is Roy Rosetta on the keyboard. He is a forum member and a mainstay at many steel gatherings across the country.

That is correct, Roy Rosetta, not only one of the world's finest piano players, but without a doubt, one of my best friends on this earth.

Roy has been a part of steel guitar shows (among other venues) around the country since, forever ago.

Roy can play whatever you throw at him with ease.

I apologize that I did not list the credits at the end of this video. It just slipped past me. I always try and list the players because they are what makes the music.

Take care and enjoy,
Bill

That is beautiful. I have been working on it and I think I've got it down pretty good if I can get the band to follow it. Does anyone know where that song came from, who did it, etc?
