Hey Wayne what took you so long! I spoke to Bill F yesterday and he told me you might be playing bass on my set at 10 am on Sat.
Its been 13 years since that happened last and I haven't learned anything since so you should have no problems other than covering my mistakes.
Seriously (as I can get) I'm looking forward to seeing you again.

For those that don't know, Wayne Smith is a member of our infamous Saluda staff band. He is just a grumpy old man, but a killer bass player (just be sure and use BIG numbers on your charts).

Seriously, Wayne and I have been friends for MANY years and have worked in many bands together over the years.

Glad to see that Wayne finally coughed up the $5 to join the forum.

WELCOME

Bill

And he figured out a way to distinguish himself from the Wayne Smith that's a steeler! Wayne is also a member of the Georgia Steel Guitar Association staff band. It's really the same staff band from Saluda, but I had to get in a plug for the GaSGA! They are all amazing musicians and love steel guitar along with the rest of us. Welcome aboard, Wayne!

Ok, there seems to have been some confusion and probably due to me.

I posted the specifics in an earlier post but did not transfer them to "Who's coming to the Choo Choo"

So here they are:

Choo Choo Holiday Inn
1-800-872-2529
Room rates are $77.00 including parking. You must request the Choo Choo Steel Guitar Reunion rate.

The show promoter is Larry Self
423-533-4008 steel@bledsoe.net
The show is split into 3 sections as noted above. Each show is $20.00 or $60.00 for the entire show.
Reserved seating is available by contacting Larry Self.

Hope this clears everything up.

See you next week.

Hey guys, Bill is right. There should be a big crowd so this show can continue. I am sorry I can't make the ChOO Choo this year. I would love to see all my friends. Maybe next year. I know with the line up you can't help but have a great time. I will miss you all. Have fun. Bobby

Hey Roy,
Do you mean "birthday suit" or clothes.

You know that the "Big E" played for my birthday at the Choo Choo last year.
What can you do to top that?

Your best buddy,
Bill

Hey Bill.....I can't top the "Big E". I think if you show up in your "birthday" suit you will have "topped" the "Big E".. Image.
Now on the other hand, if you show up in your "hungry" suit I'll buy your dinner, how's that my friend.
See you and Miss Linda Thursday at the "Choo Choo".
