Rick Alexander - my tribute.
A while back I found myself in a place we all land from time to time, going stale, couldn't think of anything to play. I saw Rick playing his Gibson Console and he was having fun. I thought I would have some of that too and we wrote to each other, he encouraged me to get back to the Lap Steel. He will be missed by me and many others here so I have recorded this little tribute. This song was called by another name, I changed it.

James.... I'm getting old and grouchy, cynical and jaded... don't like most of what I hear lately. But I just want to tell you, I loved this. Sweet, expressive, beautiful. This is the kind of playing that made me love steel in the first place. All the pedals, levers and gear in the world don't take the place of heart. I'm sure Rick would be touched and honored. Thanks for sharing it.
