Nashville this weekend april 1-5

Post by Frode Bjoernstad »

I will be in Nashville this weekend (april 1 -5), and would love to catch some nice pedal steeling. Please let me know if any of you forumites are playing this weekend, or if any one would like to hang out and maybe give a quick psg lesson or two?

I am planning on seeing Robert Earl Kean at the Ryman on saturday, and the Time Jumpers at the Station Inn on Monday. Other than that my schedule is pretty open, so other suggestions on what to do is also welcome?

Thanks!

Frode

Frode, I will be playing a showcase at Joe's Crab Shack in downtown Nashville on Friday night around 9:00 PM with Saints of Havanna. Come say hello to a fellow Norwegian.

If you can hang around Nashville until next Tue. evening, the n.t.s.g.a. will be having it's April Super Jam at the Donelson Am. Legion Post 88. At 7 pm. You never know who will show up there! Everyone is welcome and invited to attend. (4-40 min. sets from 7 until 10:10 pm.)

I'm afraid I am leaving Nashville tuesday morning. :(

Still interested in a steelguitarlesson or two here in Nashville. You does'nt have to be a pro player ( I'm definitely not). Just interested in new some thoughts on my playing, and maybe pick up some usefull licks. I'll pay decent, have a rentalcar, and not afraid of travelling some miles.

My email is frodebjornstad(a)gmail.com, and I am online at the motel.

Frode,

Do you know that Paul Franklin appears with the Time Jumpers at the Station Inn in Nashville on Monday evenings. I think showtime is 9:00, not sure. Do not miss this show! Get there at least an hour early, this is a popular event. Maybe some of the Nashville natives can provide additional and more current details. Have fun!
