Tony, do I need to register to attend? I don't plan on playin'... but I plan on bringin' a box of my new ceramic tone bars for folks to sample, and I'd love to meet some of the players I've emailed!

Also, if anyone has anything for sale, bring it and put a sign on it. Many items have been sold this way, although it may be after the jam that people hook up and work out the details.

I've been looking at putting a rack unit together, but prices will pretty much limit me to using a combo... So if any of you know of a Nashville 400 or comparable amp that might be for sale around these parts, please let me know! I'll see you folks there on the 18th. I have an issue with my B pedal not always returning true, which stems from a noob mistake putting the guitar back in the case with the tuning peg still on the 6th string finger dealio.... Oops!

Lynn, if you could bring an aluminum knee lever BRACKET(E raise) I will pay you in whole or part trade with a spare knee lever I have.

Everyone is invited, the sign up is just giving us an idea of what to expect in the number of players wanting to play. We have packed players 3 deep before and we can do it again.

Come early, we start play at 1:00 sharp.

Check the link above for the songs and chord charts, it may help you in preparing to attempt to blow Tony's skirt up. He is an animal so you better do your homework.

Do not forget about the mechanics workshop around 11:00, maybe we can identify some issues you may be having with your guitar, and maybe we can help you with small adjustments. Adding knee lever kits or pickup replacement will have to be done between songs in the back of my van.

Mechanics workshop update:

I signed up with evite and commented on 2 issues that I have since resolved (I believe), but it would be great if someone could go over my work. Also I still have questions regarding setting up and improving my action/throw and some changes that I'm not sure about on the knee levers.

My first issue was the missing knee lever bracket on my E>F. Huge thanks to Lynn Stafford for helping me out the day of my first gig! Got home and it took me all of 5 minutes to install.

2nd issue was related to a tuning issue stemming from putting my guitar back in the case with the tuner peg still on the 6th string, b pedal... Oops!
Ever since then it was always hit and miss, when and how it would go out of tune, sometimes sharp, other times flat.

I took it apart last week and it was totally bent up!

I bent it back as straight as I could and re-installed. Also lubed up some parts with my triflow bottle and everything seems to be ok for now!

So I guess for the mechanics workshop I would just like someone to go over the undercarriage and explain things to me since I've never really had a pro's eye go over it with me.

The format is fairly simple.

We play the songs on the set list in that order. Everyone with a guitar gets a ride on either the verse or chorus (sometimes both) until all of had a chance. Then....on to the next tune.

If you're uncomfortable or unfamiliar you can pass. Just let the next guy know so he or she can jump in.
