EMCI date

I've got a black D-10 EMCI in my shop I'm going to clean up and service for a friend of mine. Was just wondering if anybody might know what year it is. It was made in Arlington and has the welded frame. Model# RX 5000 and serial # A 3176. I'm figuring maybe an 84-85 model. Thanks.

Billy it might be a bit later than that...my MCI Rangexpander D10 (welded frame) was serial# LA3067 and I got that new on 18th April 1986
