She said I could find the answer on a piece of paper tucked between page 71 and 72 of the book. I looked and there was nothing there.

Alan, there's also "deified".

The ZB thread is 18,063 hits ahead of this one. NOTHING should stand in the way of catching that one.

Yeah butt, the ZB thread has been here for five years longer. While that may be NOTHING to quibble about, at the rate we're going lately, NOTHING will catch us in the next five years. While I have NOTHING against this as being funny, I do wish we could see some more pictures of NOTHING ! NOTHING would suit me better so I do not expect NOTHING less !

A somewhat different approach to nothing....

Go ahead, scratch yourself now. Even if nothing itches, go ahead. (Pause for your scratch).
Doesn't that feel pretty good?

I hope that this has helped make your day.

Aloha, :)

Interesting ... I see there's a whole lot of nothing here.

By the way, has anyone thought of starting a Something thread? I sort of thought about starting one, but there was Nothing interesting about Something. Something about Something wasn't as interesting as Something about Nothing ...

Just ordered Pizza Hut because there's nothing in my stomach ... but when it arrives, the nothing will turn to something as I turn the something into nothing while enjoying every savory slice, so when the something becomes nothing, would you say I'd gotten something from nothing? Of course, the something that became nothing will turn to something again leaving nothing behind ... I think ...  :?:

Something like that ... or maybe Nothing like that ...

I'm in the middle of doing my taxes and having pizza (what a combination), so there's really nothing I can come up with that'll amount to something.

I'd pay the taxes !! My Dad used to say there was NOTHING certain except DEATH and TAXES !! To my way of thinking, DEATH would be the ultimate in NOTHING so give the rest to the IRS...But if you put NOTHING into DEATH, what have you got left ??

Alan; could you give me a hand here ?? I'm stuck again !! :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

Everything and nothing are exact opposites. Exactly the same, but totally different. When they collide, you might have something, or perhaps nothing at all. This is the first step in being assimilated. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. :alien:

The confusion is caused by words which describe something that doesn't exist. For instance:

There's no such thing as cold: cold is absence of heat.

There's no such thing as death: death is the absence of life.
