What a cool photo!!!! I went to a lot of live shows when country was big and it was always a thrill to see something like that. Often the opening act would come on with no steel man, but the headliner's steel would be sitting there all tuned up and ready to go. You've really captured the essence of "the stage". Any show I go to, I always scan the stage for a steel soon at the curtain opens and it's always a thrill to see the curtain open and watch the band walkin and take their positions.

I was in a band several years ago, and we were the opening act. I was the steel player in the opening act band, the main attraction had a steel player also. When our band got through, I moved my gear back stage and let the main act with their steel player come on out and perform with his band. That is a cool photo by the way.
