Paint it black and add a thick cushion to the top and nobody (except another steel picker)would know the difference.

The measurements are about the same as a seat too.

I have one (haven't used it to play the steel). It doesn't support much weight, so you best be skinny if you gonna sit on it.

I was actually at Lowes yesterday looking for some kind of tool box I could attach legs and a seat to and they had these in the isle.

It's molded right in the plastic, "Do not sit on" but I sat down anyway and it's the perfect height. Don't know how long it would hold up. Plus I would probably get sick of people asking if I had any beer in there.

WE USE "CRAFTSMAN" PLASTIC TOOL BOX . ROLLERS UNDER BACK w/SAME TYPE HANDLE . WILL SUPPORT 200-250lbs.
$50-60 @ K-MART or SEARS . JUST PUT CUSHION ON TOP .
