A notebook, or a netbook (the differences can be almost indistinguishable, depending on the brand), is smaller and cheaper than a laptop, with less memory and a slower processor. Intended mainly for internet and email. _________________ C#

The terms laptop and notebook have been used interchangeably for years now. They are one and the same thing. Both can have large amounts of RAM, fast processors and advanced audio and video features. Both can load all manner of applications and games.
A "Netbook" is a small, limited capacity computer, meant to browse the Internet and do email. It is limited on the type of connectors it has and what applications it can handle. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
