Hi Doug,
I got your book a couple of days after placing the order. I let it sit around for a couple of weeks. I was waiting to change strings on my Remington Steelmaster that I could tune to C6.
I got to the material about Tuesday of last week. Within a half hour, I was playing "Harbor Lights".Since then I have learned three or four more songs, all in about three or four days!
The material is excellent and easy to follow.I am really getting into C6 tuning for the first time.
You did a great job and I am happy to reccomend your book to anyone.

Thanks Alan, Morgan, and others. You've really made my day!
Morgan, I think you're going to like C6 tuning. In my opinion, it's the most versatile lap steel tuning. The intervals are fairly close which makes it handy for playing licks, scales, etc. And it's a high tuning... it really stands out when you're playing in a band situation. There are lots of slants available too, 7th and 9th chord slants. Have fun with it!
