After a week I can say this guitar is killer! Buyers remorse=0. I did knock the LKL past the stop, I guess because my old Sho-bud required much more pressure. Also, if I'm not careful I'm pushing RKR when I work the volume pedal. No fault of the guitar, it's just the levers are soooo easy to accuate. Modern technology at its best.
This ain't no Maverick or Carter Starter. This is an axe that will take you anywhere you want to go with it. Made in America! Now Doug, what's that 4th knee lever do... if you think you are limited by 3&4, think again. There is more music on that guitar than you can create in a lifetime. So...get going!!!

Last week while surfing the web I found myself at you-tube watching the David Hartley videos. I'm hooked! I now watch Dave every day and have decided to learn Pedal Steel Guitar. I have ordered lots of DVDs and CDs to help me learn. I joined this forum yesterday and I will be buying my PSG in the next few days or so. I am looking at two of them. One is a Emmons owned by Justin Brown here at the forum. And the other is one of your Stageones. The Stageones have a great price and look good but they just don't look as good as they could if they had a pad and I really want a pad on my guitar, that I plan on owning for a long time. I don't know what to buy yet. It's a very hard choice to make.

Hi Richard Burton,
Yes, the Stage One is a pull-release single finger changer. It works great for the E9th tuning.
Calvin, I am getting some more of the teal color. It does not look like that picture, it is darker and a little more green. It makes a very nice looking guitar.
Duane Keiper, welcome to the forum. Don Blood makes an aftermarket detachable pad for about $100.

Stage One PSG
Bump for a great guy and a great little psg. The one I brought was less than 6 months old and even though it wasn't purchased new from Doug, he agreed to honor the remainder of the "pretty good warranty" at the request of the seller. Nice!!!
Here it is complete with add-on pad, tuner and music holder. Now, if I could just play Thanks for a great little guitar.

The half price shipping offer is over. Thanks to everyone who responded! (A surprisingly large amount, by the way... Those who have inquired during this time but have not officially placed an order will receive the half price shipping when the order is confirmed. We may do this again a little later in the spring.
I have to go do my real gig for a few weeks, working on power plants so we can have electricity. I don't like them but it pays really well.
