thought I would throw this out there .. I am thinking of building a seat out of some scrap walnut ..using conduit flanges and pipe fo the legs but I want to get the dimensions right..ANY HELP???

seat build
I built one out of plywood, 3/4" with a back rest, right in the lower part for comfort and put swivel
casters on it, handles on the sides, and put a very
comfortably padded and hinged locking lid. Don't look
like anything you'd buy but something you'd be proud
to have and use. Good luck on youre build.

Bo; Go to your hardware store & get a 1 in. piano hinge. they usually come in lengths from 1 ft, to 3 0r 4 ft. Easy to cut to desired length. Looks like a factory job when finished. Andy H.

I agree a piano hinge will work excellent..some hardware stores carry hinges like you would see on a blanket chest or fine furniture.( i think they call them butterfly) I was lucky to find a flight case like they ship hospital equipment in which is what i am using..they look identical to those used on guitar cases.
