Why Only One Grand Ole Opry Show?

Post by Tom Kaufman »

I've noticed here of late that the Grand Ole Opry has just the one sshow on Saturday nights now! I am aware that..from time to time..especially around the holidays..they'd have one show. But I'm noticing more and more that (so it seems)..every Saturday night is just one show! Does anyone know if this is a "permanent thing..and if so, why..or does management even bothering to give any kind of official reason? Shoot! I can still remember when the opry had two shows..even around Christmas! For that matter, seems as thoughI remember the opry having two shows on Fridays as well! Guess nothing stays the same!
