HI Guys
Does anybody have any experience of this amp for steel ? I have a chance of one with the celestion 12" neodim' speaker in it. I know it's only 22 watts, but it gets glowing reports for guitar.
Also what are your thoughts on a '74 twin and a 65 re-issue, the plus' and minus' .
Thanks

Barry,
It's probably okay for lapsteel. For pedal, I'd get the '74 Twin. |

I had one... Not a great pedal steel amp IMHO.. Too piercing, not as warm as the silverface or blackface.. It was a nice amp, but didn't sound near as nice as the earlier Fender designs.... It will do low volume pedal steel gigs in a pinch, but there are much better choices out there... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
