i was on myspace and found slim rhodes page and on one of the albums pictured on the page the gonna romp and stomp album there is a picture of a pedal steel i would like for someone to tell me the brand of this steel its sounds great it may be a wright or shobud but i want to know for sure. |

That is a "Hughey" played and built by the late John Hughey............. |

ive heard of john hughey did he build steels are is this just one he built for himself.does anyone have a better picture of it. |

Daniel...John Hughey (one of the all time great steel guitar players!) was also involved in the "JCH" company at its inception, but I believe eventually these great guitars were built solely by Jimmy Crawford and production unfortunately ceased upon Mr. Crawford's untimely passing. |
