| Our next meeting will be Sun. Feb 7th at 2:30PM at the Life Church bldg. in Katy. Dir : I10 to Katy. Take Pin Oak exit. South on Pin Oak to Katy-Flewellen(Shell station on right), right on Katy-Flewellen to Greenbusch(first street on left). Left on Greenbusch about 1 mile to Life Church on your right.There will be a short teaching segment. Dale Thomas will again be our featured player. A great player and entertainer. We invite all players, regardless of your playing level to play. Have 2 songs ready. We will also have the JAM. Players should be there by 2:00PM to set up. The meeting is free, however we will have a donation box for those who would like to donate to help with the expenses of operating our club. Those who bring soft drinks and treats are greatly appreciated. All musicians,singers, and steel guitar fans are welcome. See you there. Jody, Billy and Patty. |

I'm sorry I won't be there this month. It's hard to be in two places at one time. There's enough of me, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet....
But, I'm hoping to be able to go to the Dallas show.

I'm sorry to say I'm going to miss this one and the Dallas show. My boss is still not 100% healthy from his last surgery so I have to work every weekend for a while. I'm lucky to be able to get of to do my Opry gig on Saturday. I hope the meeting goes well and everyone has a great time. I've never made it to the Dallas show but would like to check it out some day.

Yes, the Super Bowl is Sunday, but it doesn't start until 5:32, so you'll probably be home by then.
