These guys are a *must hear*.

I've played with them a number of times, and they are killer.

Rosevelt is one of my favorite steel players. It's amazing to meet a musician who is so humble, but has so much huevos on the bandstand. He totally kills me. He's filling the really big shoes of Glenn Lee very well.

All the players and singers are not only great musicians but great people.

I love them, too! I have their album "Say Yes" and the cut "Joyful Sound" just gives me goose bumps. I'd love to catch a live performance... I'd be turning flips up the aisle like in "The Blues Brothers"!

Their performance at the 2006 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival was one of the highlights of that year for me. When they started playing, there were two or three people standing there (including me). From the first note, people were streaming away from other stages to come dance with them. They played on the smallest stage in the park and had a full crowd by the end of their performance.

Great stuff - thanks for sharing!

What Dan said! One of my favorite bands to hang with, and Roosevelt is one of the nicest guys in music. Man, they make people happy!

After Mark van Allen's set with Peter Rowan, the Lee Boys with the Travelling McCrourys was the highlight of MagFest last October. In fact, I believe that the Lee Boys actually did follow MVA and Peter Rowan.
