Many, many thanks to each vendor that donated items for our auction to raise money for the T.S.G.A. Benevolence Fund. During the year this fund is used to assist musicians with medical or financial needs and to assist families of musicians that pass away. Along with our prayers, this is a great way for us to be there for each other.
We would like to recognize the following vendors: Dana Stewart, Goodrich Pedals, Roy Rosetta, Carter Steel Guitars, Mr and Mrs Burt Gavin, Jerry Newberry and Austin Stewart, T.S.G.A., Mike Siler, Tommy Dodd, John Hughey, Bobby Bowman, Doug Jernigan, Red Kilby, Joe Wright, MSA Steel Guitars, Steel Mill Productions, Russ and Laney Hicks, Herby Wallace, George L's, Jerry Fessenden, Jeffran Music, Mullen Steel Guitars, Kay's Kovers, Hag Bag-Mike Headrick, Desert Rose-Chuck Bach, We Need the Money Guitars-Rex Brattenbery, Easton Embroidery, Rains Steel Guitars, Beard Guitars.
We would also like to thank the many that gave cash donations, the very many that purchased items during the auction, all those who purchased tickets for the dobro and other drawing. We thank all of you that just came by to say hello, and the many that told us they appreciated our hard work.
We also want to thank those that assisted us with this endeavor: Joe Wright, David Wright, Jim and Janet Wise, Elaine Gondeson,
Toni Bowman, and Bill and Linda Ferguson.
We also take this opportunity to thank the
T.S.G.A. and its President Albert Talley for presenting each of us with a President's Award.
We love our job of helping others.
Sincerely,
Barbara Rosetta and Dee Polish[This message was edited by Barbara Rosetta on 08 March 2005 at 05:22 PM.] |

Barbara and Dee,
What a great job you both did with the benevolence fund - as did the others who assisted you! Not only is it important for steel guitar associations to enhance the visibility of THE instrument, but also to contribute to our fellow players through education, financial and emotional support whenever possible.
Barbara, I also noticed the credit you were given for your help with the program!
Super job, Ladies!!!!!
