Simple observation for beginners.

10 strings, 24 frets, 4 knee levers, 3 foot pedals, 2 finger picks, 1 thumb pick, 1 metal bar, and a volume pedal. How hard can it be? And to think thats a simple setup nowadays.

Being a beginner myself, I guess I didnt think of it this way until I started learning. It is daunting, but not at all impossible.

Mr. Sortun, I had a good buddy in Highschool, an exchange student, from Norway. He posts stuff in Norwegian on my facebook and I can't read it, I like to joke with him thats he's talkin about me, I wouldn't know it anyways.

...I thought for some reason Pedal Steel wouldn't be that hard for me because I played guitar for so long (got some fingerpicking, and music theory from that) and I played lap steel for the last two years (got bar control, blocking, etc. from that)
I'm glad I have that experience under my belt....but STILL...Pedal steel is HARD.
But...
..I'm really, really Loving every frustrating moment.

Thanks Georg, I will try it. This sounds dumb, but is the keyboard different or is there some sort of program to add all of different symbols? Sorry dumb American, never really thought of this stuff until I ran into it.
