Post by Billy Murdoch »

Without wanting to know why.
How many steelers have been married more than once.
I am in My second marriage.

I'm 35 and have never married. I have never found anyone willing to put up with being gone so much.
I suspect that is the reason.
They ether cant deal with being alone or they think our jobs are one big party after another.

Marriage

Post by John Wall »

I married my high school sweet heart. We went to school together from the first grade. We were in a gospel group together before we married. She played bass and sang, I played lead guitar and steel. Come this May we will have been married for 35 years... :D Till death do we part...

I guess I feel like a "HO" as I've been married five (5) times! The first was for 6 years, the second was for 9 months, the third was for 2 years, the fourth was for almost 30 years, and finally my 5th wife (and my last) is still going strong for 5 1/2 years now and it'll continue until I croak. I finally have a wife who doesn't bitch at me for playing music or buying instruments! Also, she sings in the band with me which is cool........JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

My first one did me a favor, but 6 years later, I was stupid again. Thats why I play my steel, and other instruments in my own bedroom now. :?

Only married once, but for just a tad short of 45 years until Linda passed away. Miss her so. The best of the best.

18yrs with my fourth. I'd like to consider the first 3 as rehearsals, but the reality was, I'm impossible to live with.

Only married once myself ... for seventeen long dreadful years. Happily divorced now and my steel is the closest thing I'll get to ever being married again.

By no means being boastful................

Post by Ray Montee »

#1 was 24.5 years...... Fell in love with her in 6th grade. Helped her into a career path at the height of the Women's Lib movement and woosh......she was gone.
#7 has been with me for 9 years and loves my steel guitar/music and helped locate several of my Ric's, and made possible our trips to Joliet, St.Louis, Dallas and Honolulu possible. God Bless her!

I'm worried about Jerry Hayes...like he might be starting a trend? John Davis sounds like a rock solid musician.
