Jim Loessberg's new cd

Post by Justin Griffith »

I got Jim's New CD the other day and WOW. Vintage push pull tone at its finest. Upright bass (Bob Moore),Bobby Flores' great fiddle and guitar work, real traditional country drums, and of course Jim's usual great taste and style.
If you don't have the cd you are missing some of the finest playing I have heard to date.

Absolutely one of the finest Cd's in my collection and a "must" for yours. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet behind that great tone and steel work.... "Jim Loessberg". The players on this CD, who compliment Jim's fine work, are some of my personal hero's which happen to be some of the finest musicians in Texas.

I had the opportunity to hear Jim play steel for Jack Greene this past Saturday night @ the Palestine Opry in Palestine, Texas. I bought his new CD, and what a treat. We are looking forward to having Jim come and perform at one of the monthly ETSGA shows. Thanks Jim for the visit.

Hey ya'll!

Thanks for the nice words. I appreciate all the support.

It was truly an honor to work with the great Jack Greene. He is singing as well as ever and what a super nice guy! I'd like to have him on my record label. Does anyone out there know how to make that happen?

Justin, you are a pal. Thanks for helping me with my steel in the rain last week.

Roy, I always look forward to working with you. I wish we got to do it a little more often.

W.J. it was a pleasure visiting with you in Palestine. I hope Jimmy books me for another show someday. By the way, I am hoping to convince the local radio station to carry my radio show. Put in a good word for me if you get the chance!

Best,

Jim

Hey Jim -
I just took delivery of your new CD yesterday and it is a killer!! I have to say that "Hold It" is my favorite song on there, but there are certainly no sleepers on there either. I highly recommend it to everyone on the forum, and you won't be sorry.

Got my autographed copy this week.

Super selection of tunes and yes that PP sound is THERE. "Hold It" is also my favorite cut on the album.

Jim Loessberg is definitely among the top 3 or 4 players in Texas IMHO.

A bump for Jim and a reminder to get his CD, you won't be sorry! Also some great news,,,saw Jim at Gruene Hall Sunday and he told me he will be the regular house band steel player for Hays County Opry! If you want to hear AND SEE a world class steeler come on out.

I picked up Jim's CD at the Hays County Jamboree a couple months ago when Jim set in for the night. Great music. I'm singing on the Jamboree in April and am thrilled to hear that Jim will be a regular. Looking forward to singing with a great steel player. That's usually a good show.
