Please help identify these 2 Nationals

Post by Chris Lackner »

Can anybody confirm that this is a National?

It certainly has many features that are similar to the Nationals I've seen, but I've never seen one like this.

I've uploaded a pic of the second one.
I have no idea what kind it could be. The fretboard and shape recall other Nationals slightly, but I'm at a loss here.

Thanks in advance!

Here's the earlier thread on the Kay 155 that Michael mentioned. Mine has pots dated 1960 and I bought it for $200.

Thanks Michael and Rick. I was looking for the info for a while with no luck. I figured you would be able to help, but didn't realize you'd be so fast.
