Hi all,
Been lurking here since November when I got my Carter Starter. Must admit, I have the steel bug and have come along pretty well in 6 weeks. I try to play at least 30 minutes a day. I have ordered Bobbe Seymour's Beginner DVD and bought the only Pedal Steel book I could find at the local music store.
I have a little favor to ask. Eric Church is by far my favorite country artist. If you havent checked him out, you might want to. It is truly the real deal.
My favor is if anyone knows chords, licks, etc to Eric's songs "Young And Wild", "Guys Like Me", or "Pledge Allegiance To The Hag" (or any of his songs with steel for that matter) if they could point me to right direction to figuring them out. Any info on Chords, inversions, neck position. Nothing too specific as I know that would be a lot of work, but any input would be truly appreciated.
Thanks for letting me hang out on your great message board and have a grest day !

Hey Craig. Don't have the music but I opened up for Eric with a group at the 40 Watts bar last year and he is a great guy. I can't remember his steel players name but one of the first songs he played was an old George Jones song and he let the steel player show off some,, I believe the songs was "once you've had the best". _________________ "Hotrod"

Austin, Steve Fishell played steel on Eric's latest record. I'm not sure if he's got a steel player now, though.
