I am setting up a MSA Classic S-10 for a friend and I am having trouble getting the 2nd string tunable to C#. This is a Double raise/Double lower mechanism. It gets to C# but is not consistent. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Up Front

What gauge string are you using? I think I had to use a .017 on the MSA I had. |

If the second string changer finger has a helper spring on it, take it off. |

Thanks for all the help!!
Donny Hinson sent me a lighter return string and some MSA Steel Guitar nuts that hold the pedal bar on. My friend whom is 80+ yrs. certainly appreciates them, for they are large enough for him to not have to fumble with like the original small wing nuts.
This is a great place to be
Thanks Again
