Date for my MSA Classic S12?

Just picked up an MSA S12 Classic 3x5 and the serial number is 1C 1645 - Can anyone tell me how old this is?

Reece Anderson at MSA can tell you the exact day it was born. I have a D10 #2c 1898 Feb. 2, 1974. Larry
