I had lost my copy of Clydes new CD and got another one today. This is one of the best steel albums avail today. a cpl great vocals and Clyde also plays fantastic dobro on it and plays dobro licks on the steel too! There is a Super R/T avail also which is something really great to play along with. Clyde doesn't have a computer ( but I think he has an indoor toilet! ) but you can contact him at 252 523 4404

Skip.
I was stationed at Seymour-Johnson AFB 2 times (between 65-70) and on Friday night at the NCO club Charlie Albertson and his band played for country music night.
I have been told Clyde was the Steeler.
He was a great back then and I am sure he has mellowed with age.
I will have to call Clyde and talk about those good old days at SJAFB and order his CD.
I want to come back to Goldsboro (after 35 years) and see what I remember of the town and base.

I also have really enjoyed his CD. Great variety and many different styles. You need to get this one for your collection. And to add to that I get to play on the same venue as Clyde tonight. He is playing lead guitar at a Church Dinner theater. (He lets me fill in on steel). A greater person you will not meet!

Clyde's CD is outstanding, and entertaining...not your just a regular great cd by a great steeler, but well thought out. The notes on the cd cover are worth the price, but his playing is superb...Then to top that all off, he is a super human being in addition to all that talent..

I agree with Skip,Glenn and Bowie. I know Clyde and he is a great person. He does not know how much he helped me on the Beginners Seminar that he had in Wilson N.C. about two years ago.One of you guys tell him I really appreciate what he has done for me and I will be buying his CD and track.I still remember him comming over to me at the Wilson MASGA Jam and telling me that I do something he would never do and that is to play Solo.He heard me play and he jumped in the air and houled Yippee good job.I will never forget the coferdents that gave me to hear a Pro like Clyde do that for a beginner. Also tell him that I'm holding my own now and it feels good .
