Franklin D-10 8x8

Post by Rick Byrd »

Franklin D-10 8x8. The guitar is serial number 107 with a Valley Pecan mica finish and Lawrence L-710 pick-ups. I am the second owner and had Paul Franklin, Sr. add 4 knee levers to the original 8x4 in 2006. The guitar and case are in good condition. This is a fine instrument which I have enjoyed and it has not been played out much. I am in the process of selling instruments that do not get the playing time that they deserve.

The price is $7,500 plus shipping by method of your choice and payment method can be discussed. I will be glad to drive from Birmingham to Nashville to hand deliver the guitar to Paul Franklin, Sr. if you desire to have Mr. Franklin perform any changes. Or, I will meet you within a reasonable drive from Birmingham for delivery.

If you are interested in the guitar, please call me on my cell phone at 205-586-8952 and / or send me an e-mail at crbyrd52@bellsouth.net. It may take until evening hours to get back with you. Sorry, but I am not interested in any trades.

Rick, that's a superb-lookin' steel! I'm tempted to drive down to B'ham just to play it ;)

Good luck with your sale!
